We have a bunch of files, which we want to distribute to our customers for free. However, to discourage distribution, we want to watermark the downloaded files.
I setup Download Manager + PDF Stamper. However, it looks like the “checkout” and stamping functionailty is only working if a price is defined.
So far, the customers have no accounts setup in WordPress. Our idea is to send them a link, where they can self-register and then download the file for free. Can you help us to get up to speed?
There is some default lock option, but you can check this add on also, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wpdm-form-lock/, this is a very popular add on.
