Hello all,

For a few days now, our monitoring software has been showing security issues caused by “WP Download Manager” on various websites.

Could you please take a look at this and, ideally, fix it directly?

Many thanks & best regards,
Manuel

I just saw that the problem has already been solved. You should update the “Download Manager Pro” plugin to the latest version.

However, we only use the free version on some websites. What is the solution for this?

Hi,
No worry, there issue you were seeing was related to an old PRO version, the latest versions of wpdm free 3.2.70 and pro 6.3.2 both are secure.

Hello Shahjada,

Thank you very much for your answer. It’s just that our customers receive a weekly status report on their website and it has been listed here for several days that there are security issues on their website: https://ibb.co/12C3KVR

Of course, our customers do not know whether these security issues affect the paid version of the “Download Manager” or the free version.

I would therefore be very pleased if this security issue could be resolved in an update of the free version (or in such a way that our tool no longer reports this alleged security issue).

I hope you can understand my problem. I would be very pleased to receive a short feedback.

Many thanks & best regards!

Actually, we have nothing to do from the plugin side, but we are trying to contact the patchstack.com about this report, though they clearly mentioned it is a pro plugin issue, not free. Also, please let your security plugin author know about that.
