Restricting downloads and requiring an email

I’m not sure your tool is exactly what I’m looking for. I have several documents that I want to control their access. If clicking a link on my website, I want to require that individuals register with an email address. Once they do that, they will be taken directly to the document in pdf form, which normally comes with a download button in upper right portion. So, more of a speedbump on their way to document. Once they register, I want the email address to go to a specific list either in mailchimp or mailpoet. Is your plugin right for me?
