Remove WPDM from site - WordPress Download Manager

Hi Guys
I have tried deactivating and removing WPDM from my site and I keep getting this message
“Missing a required plugin!
Please install/activate WordPress Download Manager to use WPDM – Premium Packages plugin”

If it has been uninstalled it should not be constatantly displaying this message.

Please advise

For using this WPDM – Premium Packages plugin you need WPDM plugin
