Registration Page – Custom Fields – Checkboxes

I have a field on my registration form using the Advanced Custom Fields add on and it is set to be a checkbox.
I have a label set for the checkbox and it shows on the registration form perfectly. I register and CHECK the checkbox.

Once I register I go to user inside word press and the checkbox field shows an unchecked, even though I checked it on the form.

Is this a known issue?
