Can you show me what output you are getting. May be with a link or screenshot.

Can not show with a screenshot as it is a dynamic function. I click on the modal to open the popup window and nothing happens.

Probably it is a javascript conflict, you may try disabling bootstrap js from wpdm settings page, if that doesn’t resolve the issue, either you need to disabling any of the conflicting plugin or discuss with an expert to help you closely to resolve the issue.

I am having a problem after update too. I can not activate download manager (free), Site was working fine for he past year. Site was down and I couldn’t login to WP until hosting service disabled all plugins. I was able to individually reactivate plugins one at a time to test them except for WPDM.

I get the following fatal error when trying to activate WPDM
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/content/62/9843662/html/wp/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/download-manager.php on line 12

I am running WP 4.4.2, using theme Twenty Fourteen

Extremely sorry for your inconvenience. In last update we have improved code base and using namespace, which require php v5.3.0+ ( http://php.net/manual/en/language.namespaces.rationale.php ), may you please update your server php version, however if that is not possible, you can get back the previous version from here https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/download-manager.2.8.3.zip .

I was running pHp 5.3.0 (GoDaddy). I upgraded to pHp 5.4.0 but i’m still getting the same fatal error. I have deleted and reinstalled WDPM and still get same error. I will try WPDM 2.8.3.

BTW – How do I remove the file size from the menu display?

Thanks!

The downgrade worked OK, Thank you. Attached is a screen capture of the download menu with file size displayed. I would like to remove the file size. Thanks!

wpdm pro don’t have any file size limit.
By the way, two PHP configuration options control the maximum upload size: upload_max_filesizeand post_max_size. These options can be set in your server’s php.ini configuration file so that they apply to all your applications.
