OP

Hi,

I am unable to get the shortcode to display properly in my posts. When I create a new download item it displays the download information and statistics of that download on the preview page in a table. When I attempt to use the shortcode for this download on a post all it shows is the download button, the name of file and the file size. If I include a “template=link-default-template” it echos “link-default-template” on the page. Here is my shortcode syntax: [wpdm_package id="109" template=”link-default-template”] but this doesn’t work. I would like the short code to display the stats of the file in a table as it is displayed from my download preview. I’m not sure what I am doing wrong?

Thanks for your time

There are two ways of showing a download/package.

1. Link template ( using shortcode ) – There are multiple link templates available. Each one has its own layout. Use TinyMCE addon to insert shortcode, you will find the option there to select the link template.

2. Page Template – This is the details page for the package/download. You see this page when previewing the package. You can set this details page url in your link template. Clicking on the title ( in link template ) brings the user to the details page.
