Prevent Duplicate Purchases

Hi
Is there a way to show a product has. already been purchased?

I have added a document with a price and everything is working fine when I purchase, however I find that when I purchase an item, I can go back to the document page and purchase again. Is there some way that I can flag as “You have purchased this item” with a link to their purchases page and that item?
