Plugin problem

Hi there. I had a serious speed problem on the site and dreamhost told me WP download manager Pro was causing it and I should update. I have downloaded the what I think is the latest folder of plugin files from your download area. The folder is called download-manager, but the existing folder is called download-manager.off. I’m not sure what to do. The plugin area says I’m running version 5.0.4 but I haven’t had a message to say the plugin is out of date. Your help would be appreciated.

Hello,

Please follow these steps to update the plugin,
1 ) Deactivate and delete the old version. You won’t lose any data.
2 ) Download latest version from here https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/user-dashboard/?udb_page=purchases
3 ) Install the latest version and activate the license key.

The auto-update has been enabled with the latest version.

After that let me know if it is working.
