PHP Error Logs - WordPress Download Manager

I’ve been receiving lots of php errors on my wordpress website http://www.holmfirthhigh.co.uk

Having disabled the Download Manager plugin I am no longer receiving errors.

The errors are ‘can’t lock process table in pid’

I would like to continue to use this plugin but I’m unsure how best to either preserve all my existing downloads if I resinstall the plugin or how to resolve the issues.

I will post again privately with an admin login account.

The error messages we are receiving are as below. They do not clearly identify Download Manager but by disabling plugins one at a time I realised we only receive these errors when Download Manager is Active.
