Just downloaded free version. Trying to educate myself on the plugin but cant get past the first issue. I used the short code [wpdm_package id='3264'] and when I click on the “Download” button the pdf file opens in my browser (in both Firefox and Chrome). How do I get the file to download (and not open in the browser) when I click on the “Download” button?

If you checked “Open in browser” option in wpdm settings you need to uncheck it to download the file instead of opening in the browser. However, if it is already unchecked and still opening in the browser, that is due to your browser settings. Please give me your URL ( and temporary wp-admin login info in a private reply, if that is okay with you ).
