Password Modal Not Focusable after updating to 3.3.47 – 2026.02.06

Hello WPDM Team,

I’m experiencing issues with the password modal and restriction modal in WP Download Manager.

Environment:

• WordPress 6.9.1
• WPDM – Editor Blocks 3.0.1
• WPDM – Page Template 1.1

Issue 1 – Frontend Password Modal
The password modal is not functioning properly:
The password input field does not receive focus when clicking into it.
When trying to enter the password with the mouse, the modal closes automatically.
If I use the Tab key to navigate into the password field, it works.
Mouse interaction is not possible.

Issue 2 – Backend Restrictions Modal
In the backend, the restrictions modal appears behind the blurred overlay layer.
It is visible but positioned under the overlay, so it cannot be used properly.

Console Error
In the browser console I see the following error:
admin-ajax.php:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 400 ()

What I already tested:

• Deactivated WPDM – Editor Blocks → no change
• Deactivated WPDM – Page Template → no change
• Switched to default theme (Twenty Twenty-Five) → no change

The issue persists regardless of theme or the above extensions.
