Only Opens in a New Tab - WordPress Download Manager

Hi there,
Everything seems to be working, except when I click on DOWNLOAD, the page just goes blank trying to load the PDF. However, if I right-click to open in a new tab it downloads instantly.

1. Can you please fix it so it downloads instantly with a normal click: http://kindlewood.atticrushbetasite.co.za/architecture/

2. Is it possible for it to open in a new tab, ready to download, like this: http://www.kindlewood.co.za/architecture/

#1. As I see now, download is working properly on first click
#2. Not by default, as wpdm is designed to force download rather then opening in browser.
