I am new to Download Manager, can’t find any documentation of the free-version; all I find is pro-documentation.
How can I control usage, e.g. register users en let them login, etc.
Any documentation on the free version would be highly appreciated

I hope this message finds you well and thanks for reaching out.
To set up user login and registration:
1. Create two separate pages — one for Login and another for Registration.
2. Add the following shortcodes to the respective pages:
[wpdm_login_form] for the login page
[wpdm_reg_form] for the registration page
3.Once the pages are created, go to Downloads > Settings > Frontend Access and assign the pages accordingly.

I succeeded in getting the login page, but the second page: it said: Gebruikersregistratie uitgeschakeld – User registration not active

Please check if the Membership option is enabled.
You can find this setting by going to: Settings > General > Membership in your WordPress dashboard.
Make sure the “Anyone can register” checkbox is checked.
