I am using download manager free. I am currently testing out the selling feature.
I don´t want to have anyone registering before purchasing, only completing the purchase with Paypal and then receiving the download link via email and/or via download page.
I have been able to enable the guest access. During the purchase process we are able to confirm the purchase via Paypal but after that we we are redirected to a page where we can access the Guest Orders page and the link with the “Order email” and “Order ID”. I would preferably have the download link appear directly.
Also, there is no confirmation email sent to the purchaser (therefor no Order ID) with the link. I can then see the order in the Orders overview but it is listed there as abandoned order, even though it was paid for with payment processed. I can resend the confirmation email in this overview and it reaches it destination fine when I do so.
Do you have a solution for me?

Hi,
It works exactly like the way you explained above. After the payment, the guest user is redirected to the Guest Order page ( you have to set it from Payment Gateway settings on the Premium Package settings page ). As I dont want people to register before downloading – I just want them to receive the confirmation email after purchase with the download link (I have adjusted the templates).
Is it possible to have the purchase confirmation email to be sent automatically after the purchase is completed?

Yes, a confirmation email is sent to the email address inserted during checkout. It looks like the following screenshot, you can modify the email template to change anything you want.
The problem I am having is that the confirmation email doesn´t arrive after purchase.
How can I fix that?
Maybe the issue is related to your mail server. Try using an SMTP plugin from wp.org If you want us to check the issue please send temporary wp-admin login info in private reply.
If I go to orders directly and go into the order and choose “Resend Confirmation Email” the email sends just fine. So the smtp is at least working.
Do you know where else I could look?
