Multisite download shortcode used across multiple sites

I would like for there to be a way where WPDM could be network activated and the main site be the repository for all file downloads. I am building an intranet at work for the different staff groups in my school corporation. We are going to use a plugin on my multisites called ThreeWP Broadcast where we can multipost a post on multiple sites in the multisite setup and it would be great if the download shortcode we use in the main post could work on all the different websites where the post would appear.
