Is WPDM compatible with WP Password Protect?

I have been trying to place my download files on single page with the core WordPress password protect feature enabled. For some reason, the password protect feature is not working for all users. Either there is no protection offered, or the password field does not allow access. Is there a known conflict between this core feature and WPDM? Thank you for your help.

Hi,

WPDM has password lock feature and file password system built in. We don’t use the core WordPress password lock. If you use the WordPress core feature for the single package file then there might be an issue or mistake for what it is not working. But you can always use the plugin default feature.
