Invalid File Type

Hi I was trying to download an exe file and it was hanging and not completing. I stopped the process. Now all my files get the same error message – Invalid File Type (Choudrant_DMS.exe)! I tried to purge cache that did not help. I deactivated the Download Manager plugin and reactivated the plugin. I still get the same message. This is very important part of my business. What else can I do?

The fix to the problem does not need to be private. It defaulted to it.
