hello, i have a question for the requirement for my website. i am currently using free version of wpdm.
i am offering free downloads from my website.
now i need to add a Download price on some of my graphics, once it reaches to a certain number of initial downloads, lets say First 100 free downloads.
I need to know if i buy your pro version, have this ability.
Once the free downloads reach to limit of 100, then it automatically change to Buy Now. upon clicking on it, the user will asked to make the payment to Paypal checkout page, once the payment is recieved at paypal, through credit card or paypal then the customer will recieve an email instantly having link to download file.

if you simply need to add payment option you will need this add-on http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/premium-package/ . But there are no automated option to apply price after certain amount of free download, you need to do that manually. Others are available.
yes, it will enable you to receive payment through paypal.
Yes, $25 is one time fee with 1 year support and update. If you want to get support and update after 1 year, you will have to pay $25 again, but you can continue using without update if you don’t want to renew support/update with $25.

just checked, I see you are using 2.6, but premium package requires wpdm free 2.7 ( http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wordpress-download-manager-v2-7-0/ ) or wpdm pro v4. Update process of wpdm free 2.7 is mentioned here http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wordpress-download-manager-v2-7-0/ . please update to v2.7, then install premium package.

i am receiving many comments and emails people are getting distrubed they cannot download. if you cannot help and it that is your support, please send me a link from where i can download the older version of download manager 2.6.9
this will i think resolve my current situation.
