How to open a PDF in a new tab and not same tab

Hi,
I have checked in Basic Settings, and have the option to Open in Browser.
However, it opens the file in the SAME window. is there a way for it to open in a new separate window (tab)?

Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the WPDM plugin.

I hope with the latest version the referred setting will appear.
