How to make a direct link to a downloadable file in the Download Manager plugin

Hello
I use Download Manager v 5.0.8
The name of my site is Nexpro.ru
Question:
how to make the download link look like the real path to the file?
My link looks like this now:
https://nexpro.ru/download/overcrowded-tycoon?wpdmdl=131964&refresh=63487755603f41665693525
I would like the link to look like this:
https://nexpro.ru/download/games10/Borodach_2_1.3.apk
In the Download Manager settings, I check the Activate flat download url checkbox, but for some reason the files stop downloading and the link looks like this:
https://nexpro.ru/wpdmdl/130885-eyJ3cGRtZGwiOjEzMDg4NSwicmVmcmVzaCI6IjYzNDg3OGRmMGI1ODMxNjY1NjkzOTE5In0/People%20Playground%20Tips_v1.0.0.zip

Hello,

Thanks for contacting WPDM Support forum.

To get direct download links, please upload files using select from media library this feature .
However, remember it is default WordPress upload feature and wpdm has no control over it.

And how to make it so that previously downloaded files also receive direct download links?

Hello Abakar,

For previous files, you have to update those by reuploading files using this features.
