How can I download files directly from the WordPress Media Library?

Now, when I try to download files from the Media Library, it just plays music and shows previews of images and pdfs. (download1.jpg)

Files uploaded by drag and drop are downloaded immediately. (download2.jpg)

I want it to download directly using a file that is already in the Media Library.

I’m only using the Download Manager, not the add on.

Please tell me how to do it.

Hello,
Thanks for contacting WPDM Support forum.
Since you are using direct files from the media library, WPDM has no control over them. It depends entirely on the browser whether it will open or download.
So in this case I would suggest to use the “Drop File Here” from right side.
