Hello,

we are in the process of migrating one of our client sites from Joomla to wordpress. One of the features that we need to migrate is their use of Docman. They are a construction company and they have subs that they give access to certain drawings to bid projects. We’re planning on getting Download Manager Pro, but I wanted to first ask some questions as far as capabilities. Here is the current setup below. Can someone tell me if this will work and if I need to get any additional plugins? Thanks!

Current Process:

Docman has 3 major categories with subcategories consisting of individual with files for subcontractors to download.

To Access the files (with docman), user has to register. The registration form includes:

Name
Company
User Name
Email
Password

Once registered, the admin then assigns them to a group that give them access to the download the files assigned to that group.

The admins usually upload files using ftp as file size can be as high as 20 mb.
