OP

So my client’s website uses Avada theme, and was recently updated to WordPress 5.3

On the homepage of the site, a widget containing a tree directtory of files usually appears. BUT for some reason, it no longer appears on desktop but works fine if viewed from mobile.

Any idea what’s causing this to happen?

The website is moorestownfire.org for reference. I advise looking at the website on a mobile device first to see how it should appear.

EDIT: I also want to add that I do have the Extended Short-Codes Add-on activated. but the issue still persists.

Both in desktop and mobile, it is giving “403 Forbidden”. Is there any other problem with your site?

That’s weird. The tree is displaying on mobile for me.

Is there a reason why there is a 403 forbidden error?

How can we fix this?

I see. How would I go about unblocking this if possible?

Neither I nor my client can see it and they need to see it in order to be compliant with legal requirements.

Tree directory not visible

Sorry if my question was too vague. Is it possible for you to give us a range of IP addresses for us to Whitelist so that it is not blocked on our end?

Thank you.

Now, I’m not sure why you are not seeing it.

Interesting. We’re thinking it may have to do with our network. When connected to our company wi-fi, it is not visible, but when connected to a public network, it becomes visible. We are currently trying to diagnose the issue to fix it. We checked our firewall but so far it is not indicating that plugin is being blocked.

Any suggestions on a solution are appreciated. Thank you.

Is it possible to find out what IP is being blocked?

Disregard that, turns out the proxy from our network security was interfering with the plugin.

Thank you for all your help!
