file(s) couldn't be downloaded

Everything works great except downloading the files. When I click ‘download’ (http://hostname/?wpdmdl=31) IE shows the yellow menu for open-save-cancel.

When I click save, I’ll get the message ‘document’ couldn’t be downloaded.

The strange thing is that a media file on the same page works with no problems?

I’m using WP-client because I use it for a portal login. Maybe it has something to do with that?

I presented the concept to one of our customers. They asked me if there is a possibility to use a tree-layout (with folders/directories instead of a list?)
