I cannot find the shortcodes list for the free version. Please make it more visible in your documentation.
Then I have a problem with the category-shortcode. My test page is here. Please check the first 3 vertical tabs, I wish to have files in the first tab, but it’s not showing files (I have used id or slugs, name of category or file). Moreover, if I use the tabular format (tab 2) the table is pushed very far down.
There is no document for free version. You can use wpdm-tinymce-button odd-on to get the shortcode generated.
Can’t these shortcodes be added manually without installing the tynymce plugin?
Even adding the tynymce addon, the problems are persisting: category-shortcode is empty, and most of the templates generated by the addon are just showing “link-template-panel”
There Shortcodes some of them can be used in free version. And some of them are for Ad-ons
For wpdm_category you can use following shortcode:

[wpdm_category id="books," cols="1" toolbar=0 item_per_page=15 template="link-template-default.php"]
Category-shortcode is always empty. I tried with id, slug, name… it just shows empty!
[wpdm_category id="agenda-del-volo," cols="1" toolbar=0 item_per_page=15 template="link-template-default.php"]
The above short-code is working.

This is because for access restriction.
Check wp-admin► Downloads ► All files(Edit)/Add file ► Package Settings ► Allow Access
I think we are talking a different issue. I just want to achieve what you see in the screenshot, and the shortcode is not doing it.
I’m resurrecting this post because things have not changed with the new version. I give up on the category shortcode.
So I want to try the package-all shortcode. In the WordPress description you have a table with search. But in my site there’s still the old version.
How’s that?

Yes I can see. Therefore I suggest you specify on your shortcode list page, the difference from
[wpdm-all-packages]
and
[wpdm-all-packages items_per_page="20" categories="agenda-volo" jstable=1 order_by="title" order="ASC"]
as they give different layout.
