Error Centric template fresh wp install

Hi there,

Just checking out DM and installed it on a fresh WP setup. So I only have the DM Manager plugin running with the free Centric template. I have two issues.

1. I am not able to add widgets to the download/product page. Also, the footer and comment fields are missing
2. How do I add related downloads to the page? I used the tags and categories to assign downloads to the same taxonomy, but no related links.

Hi,

1. Though the footer widgets are with the theme framework, We didn’t implement the footer widget here. So you can’t use the footer widgets.

2. We will fix the related download problem in the next update. If you need to fix this now, please follow this steps:
i) Go to your ‘WordPress installation directory’/themes/centric
ii) Then open the file single-wpdmpro.php
iii) Go to line number 75 and add ‘//’ before the line “echo wpdm_similar_packages(get_the_ID(), 8);”

Thanks Fahim for your reply.

I think there are more issues with the Centric template. For example, the download link is missing and the widgets in the sidebar don’t show up. I will try a different template for this test.
