Downloads not working on mobile devices

Using Dwnld Manager Free 5.3.3 on my WordPress Intranet site.

Made files available to all users within the business to download… Recently tried to check downloads on a mobile (via Chrome or Samsung browser) and only certain files download successfully. There doesn’t seem to be any correlation between which work and which don’t and file types.

All files can be downloaded successfully from the desktop (using Chrome).

Are there any known issues of this sort?

Any help would be appreciated 🙂

Hi @hdchris,
Welcome to the support forum.
Make sure that you are using the latest free version of the WPDM which is right now 3.2.15.
Also, the downloads are working fine via chrome in the Samsung browser.
Have you tried after putting an asterisk like this?
I hope it will work fine then. If it doesn’t work, please, provide us with your temporary wp-admin login details and site URL in a private reply for checking the issue.
Also, please share the related page/file/package URL with us where the issue exists.

Thanks for the reply. I can only see this menu (without that option), which looks different from the one you shared. Maybe because my version is out of date?

Apology for the confusion as you have posted your topic in the free forum.
In my inspection, we found that you are using a very older version of WPDM Pro. The latest version is right now 6.0.8. Please update it, or you can download them from here. It’ll enable the option.
However, after the update please, provide us with your temporary wp-admin login details and site URL in a private reply for checking the issue.
Also, please share the related page/file/package URL with us where the issue exists.

Hello @hdchris,
Yes, it’s possible to roll back. But you should always take a backup before any upgrade or downgrade for safety.
However, I have tried on a Samsung mobile with the latest google chrome and it’s working fine for me.
