Is there a way to set download pages to be noindex? I see them indexed in Google’s search engine
To prevent any page from indexing you can use robot.txt
E.g
`User-agent: googlebot
Disallow: /*.pdf$`
or
Use “noindex” page meta tags
I’m not a developer by any means but won’t that just noindex the direct PDF URL and not the designated download page?
And there’s no meta option for download pages. No option to select noindex from my SEO plugin.
