Download only allowed when entering an email address

Hello,

Is it possible, without having to create a user account, to make the download of a file conditional on the user’s name and email address?
Like with Easy Digital Download and its Free download add-on for example.

You can achieve the above-mentioned functionality easily by editing a package/file and then follow this properly.
