Hello,
I updated the free version to the latest release(3.2.11).
The tags in new added file is empty.
Use ‘wp_get_post_tags’ function to get tags, the result is empty too.

Thanks for this update.
I already use 1.2.0 since two days with same bad issue.
No tag is present.
I did a new test this morning with a new item to download : no tag in REST API.

Sorry for your trouble, you are right, we missed something, fixed and released an update 1.3.0, please update your copy.
None of them is a wpdm API call. please check:
