I got some question about Download Manager pro. I would like to tell you about my project, I renewing a website from static site to WordPress site and I’m looking for a download manager where I can add external files and you plugin let me do that. The site is about sharing mp3 files and the thing I’m looking for are the following:
1.Can the mp3 player is customizable? I know HTML & CSS so it doesn’t need to be in admin Panel.
2.The download categories are seperate from the wordpress categories?
3. The features images use the same setting as the wordpress articles features images?
4. Can the we only allow .mp3 files uploaded or added externally?
5.The mp3 player is compatible with mobile devices?
6.What is the prices range for a custom plugin?

1) you can customize mp3 player, but need to edit some code, anyhow I shall add an easy option soon to edit update mp3 and video player form admin section.
2) yes, for download categories, it is using custom taxonomy
3) Yes
4) you have both option, upload or add external link, and from front-end settings, you can block any mp3 upload if you want to allow them to add external link only.
5) yes, it is compatible with mobile device

@mkausa, wpdm 2.7 and pro using custom post type, so if wpseach support custom post type search, then it should be compatible.
