I have the free version of Download Manager. I’ve been told by my client that some of his customers are not able to download files using the app. I tested this out using Safari, Chrome and Firefox on MacOS and I am only seeing this problem on Firefox. He also told me that the problem is happening on Edge. Please let me know if there is a problem with browser compatibility or if there is a specific known bug that you all are currently fixing related to this.
Thanks.
Hello Dave Goodman,
Can you please give me temporary wp-admin login info in a private reply to check your issue?
Thanks and Regards
You can provide the info in the private reply.
Hello Dave Goodman,
I have checked the issue. Your website has a browser compatibility issue. It’s not something that is related to WPDM. Your entire website isn’t working in the Firefox browser.
Thanks and Regards
When you say “isn’t working”, what do you mean? What exactly isn’t working about it? I ask because, on my end, everything is working fine except for the ability to download documents. Plus is isn’t just happening in Firefox. It’s also happening in Edge and occasionally Chrome according to my users.
Sorry, if I was not clear enough. Your website was and is not loading on Firefox from my side. However, the site is loading on Edge and Chrome but it’s showing a network error whenever I’m trying to download any file. It looks like an issue with the server, in chrome, it is working fine when I click resume after showing the network error.
Please contact server support, if they can’t find it, we shall check it again.
Thanks
Okay, thanks. I’ll put in a support ticket with my hosting service.
