Does Download manager work WpBakery?

I’ve tried placing shortcodes within a WPBakery page via a text block and a gutenberg block and it just prints the shortcode on the page. Is there something else I should be doing or does this plugin not work with WPBakery?

Nevermind. I found that you have to use the WP Text block instead of a WPBakery text block
