Direct Access Protection Not Working

Please double check the update.

I was on the same screen shown in the photo below.

The photo I was working with was named “photo.jpg”

I applied a restriction and toggled Subscriber.

The file says it is protected and the toggle says Subscriber.

I opened a fresh web browser and I am not logged in to the website.

I pasted the direct link. “/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/photo.jpg”

I can see the photo. It is not protected.

Please help! Thank you for the amazing plugin!

Hello,

Thanks for contacting WPDM support forum.

It is working fine in our testing environment.
You have to add the shortcode to apply the security.
If the issue still persists, please share temporary admin access of you website to check the issue further.
