Hi there, I’m trying to unmuck a client site so I can upgrade the PHP version on their server.

They currently have Download Manager 4.2.2 installed, and it shows the author as “Shaon” but links back to this site. They don’t have a license key set up in the Download Manager settings. I see that the current free version from this site is 3.3.09, with an author of W3 Eden, Inc.

Based on this info, do they have an old Pro version with an expired license? What’s their best option for upgrading to a version that supports modern PHP?

Hello, Chris

I hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.
Upgrade Options:
1. If you need Pro features: Purchase/upgrade a new Pro license from W3 Eden and install the latest version.
2. If you only need basic features: Uninstall v4.2.2 and switch to the latest free version (3.3.09).

Please check and let me know.

Regards

Backup Before Upgrading: Backup the site and check if existing downloads still work after upgrading.
