Description per file attached to package

Hi,

Is it possible to include a description associated with each file I have uploaded to the package?

I have thought about using Custom Fields and creating them through that, but then the next question is how to show them on the template page. I’m currently using [file_list] and unless I am mistaken there is not a way to insert custom fields.

Is there perhaps another way to provide the same functionality?
