Colors Not Showing in Download Button

Our download manager download button only shows white text that is lost in the webpage background and does not display any of the colors in primary, secondary, info, success etc. If I set the button to “none” a visible black text appears and seems to be a temporary fix. Is there a permanent fix for this that brings the download box back?
