Checkout Page overflows on mobile

Hello everyone,

I have the following problem: When I’m on the checkout page on mobile, the “cart” block always overflows the available area of the theme and makes the page look broken (see image: https://imgur.com/a/biPaE7P).

This only occurs on the checkout screen and on the guest download page, everything else stays within the theme’s boundarys. In my example image, the payment option selector stays within the white lines.

The theme I’m using is called: Dark Minimalistblogger

Is there a way to fix this? Maybe by removing “Unit price” and “Amount” from the checkout page, since I do not need them for my purposes anyways?

Thank you in advance 🙂

Hi @fabse-green,

Welcome to the support forum.

I have checked your attached image.

We’ll need to take a closer look to see why this might be happening. But, this might take a little longer. Therefore, I’d request you to check whether there are any plugins installed that might be causing this?

Here is what you can do to check:

1. Please try switching to another theme, like Twenty Twenty-one, and check whether the issue persists or not. If not, then it is the theme that is causing the error.

2. Deactivate all plugins temporarily except WPDM and see if that solves the problem. Then, activate plugins one by one to see which plugin is causing the problem.

3. Try one more time after clearing your browser, website, and CDN caches if you have any. You may temporarily disable the caching plugin for testing.

This is a general debugging process that all WordPress support teams perform to find 90% of the problems.

If you are not sure how to go about it, we’ll be glad to help. Please share your website credentials as mentioned below so that we can take a look and help you asap.

Please let me know how that goes. I will be happy to help with any further assistance you might need.

Thanks for getting back to me. I’ve tried several things since last time but sadly the issue still persists.

1. Switching themes did not solve the issue. I’ve tried multiple ones including Twenty Twenty-two.

2. I have deactivated every plugin except WPDM and Premium Packages but the issue was still there.

3. I have cleared my browser’s cache and have even tried different browsers and devices. I do not use a caching plugin. Sadly this also did not work.

The biggest problem for me is that after purchase, when the customer is redirected to the guest-download page, the “Download” button is not visible without scrolling. This makes it very confusing to find the button (see image: https://imgur.com/a/THsYpIq)

I will now share the website access, so you can have a look.

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

Thank you for the credentials.

I have checked your website and it appears that the checkout page and guest download is working fine. Here’s the reference screenshot: https://jmp.sh/FJIPyZP and https://jmp.sh/4YzZMT4.

Can you please try one more time and let me know about your findings?

Hi,

thank you for checking. As per my initial message this problem only happens on mobile when using a phone to open the website. On desktop everything is fine. But since most of the website’s visitors will use it on their phone I am looking for a way to solve this.

Maybe removing the fields “amount” and “unit price” would be enough to make the cart table fit inside a mobile screen. Since I am selling digital items, having an “amount” field is unnecessary anyway.

Is there a way for me to remove the fields (perhaps by modifying the plugin code)? Or is there another way?

Thank you!

Hello,

Thank you for writing back to us.

Please uncheck this option: https://prnt.sc/A_0YbvlXwrEk, and it should resolve your issue, as mentioned earlier.
