Charged for Pro License Despite after Expiration – Dispute Filed

Hello,

I am writing here because I have not been able to reach WPDownloadManager support through regular channels, and I am unable to post in the Pro forum, even though I was just charged again for a license.

Here’s the situation:

I canceled my Pro license years ago.

I have not used the plugin for years and auto-renewal is NOT active.

Still EVERY YEAR my credit card was charged $45 for a renewal – last time on May 25, 2025.

And again: My license expired and I have no access to Pro features or Pro support forum.

Because support isn’t responding to my mails, I have now filed a dispute with my bank.

This is extremely frustrating – I cannot even post in the correct support forum to ask for help, even though I was charged as a paying customer.

I am happy to resolve this calmly, but I expect a refund for the recent charge and a clear stop to any future renewals.

Well, this is not “support” per se. This is about you charging me 45 USD on 26th of May 2025. There is no order and no active license.

There is no purchase, not even an invoice. If I had any of that the charge would no be in dispute!

I really don’t feel comfortable publishing all this information in a public forum, as it regards my credit card.

It has been charged by wpdownloadmanager on 26/05/2025. Kindly check with your own bookkeeping to confirm that.

I won’t be disclosing any more details here. Please talk to me privately to explore further.

Hi, I’ve been charged $45 again for a WPDownloadManager Pro license I canceled years ago. Auto-renewal was off, and I haven’t used the plugin in years. I’ve had no access to Pro features or support.
