are there any examples of the new changelog feature? what it looks like or how to use it? can you place it on pages with a shortcode?

Hello,

Please pay a visit here for [wpdm_changelog] documentation: https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/short-codes/wpdm_changelog-display-a-packages-version-history/

Just a heads up. I am using the shortcode:

[wpdm_changelog id="29672" title="Version History" collapsed="false" show_empty="true"] with Elementor and the styling is completely broken. I’m not sure why but I have all other plugins disabled so it isnt that. I think the CSS is just not parsing properly for it using the shortcode and some editors.

For now, please use the shortcode like this,
<div class="w3eden">[wpdm_changelog id="29672" title="Version History" collapsed="false" show_empty="true"] </div>

We will fix this in the upcoming update.

Note: It’s actually a template tag not a short-code. We will update the documentation to avoid misunderstanding.

Ah. Thanks for the clarification. If it is a template tag then can we get some sample templates that use it and have it setup looking good? the template section already has dozens of templates to sample various usage scenerios. It would be nice to see a couple added on different ways to display the changelog using either the media, panel, or card backgrounds maybe.

We didn’t include predefined templates with template tags because we wanted to give users full flexibility. This allows them to create templates that best suit their specific needs. In pro version, you can create your own custom templates from Templates > Create Template.
