I have just shifted from v2.6 to v2.7 but I can’t seem to find any shortcodes to display categories in the new version. Is there a different way to do this in 2.7 ?
What I want to do is insert a shortcode to my page so a list of all documents in a category is then available for download.

use tinymce button add-on from here http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/downloads/free-add-ons/ to insert short-code.
