Category selector not visible when adding a new file

Hi

Using the free version of WPDM: Version 3.2.15
Wordpress: Version 5.8.1
Neve theme: Version: 3.0.3

When I create or edit a file (package) there is no block for choosing the category on the right sidebar.
If I use Quick Edit instead, then the category list appears and I can apply a category.
However, I am uploading lots of files, and would really want to assign the category when creating the file entry.

Any ideas why I can’t see the standard Categories block to choose the category?

Hello,

I have disabled gutenberg for the downloads. Now you are able to select the category easily.
