I’m attempting to hard code a download category into a template file I’m working on, and it just displays as a block of text “{wpdm_category=test-category}”. I can only get the shortcode to appear if I put it in the WYSIWYG box in Admin.

Am I missing something, or doing something wrong? How do I make the shortcode work with PHP? I’m currently using the following:

Thanks

Okay, thanks. Do you have any idea when this update will arrive, as my project is due for completion very soon.

Also, can you confirm whether or not the correct shortcodes work, and are hard code-ready, in the Pro version?

I’m not gonna need to wait nearly a week for another response, am I? You’ve got a potential Pro customer sat right here. Plus time’s pretty pushed for me on this,
