Can't change icon on files

Download Manager 2.4.1, free version
WordPress 3.5.1

When I try to change the icon on a file, the file is not saved. Normally, after the save process a green box appears to report success (see “fba c.jpg”).

When I change the icon, a small green box without text appears (see “fba d.jpg”) and the file is not shown on the list of available files.

Is this a feature that only works in the Pro version?

…here’s a smaller version of the “fba d.jpg” illustration – one that’s small enough to upload!
