I have been using Download Manager for years without issues. I started having issues last month:
1. It started with the back-end where I could no longer upload files. The ‘upload’ area just disappeared totally. I have to enable ‘Gutenberg Block’ in the settings before the upload option appears.
2. Already published pages suddenly had no files to download. Some of these packages had been published for over a year with many downloads already. Then there is suddenly no file and I have to reupload it.
3. Now all my front-end package display blocks have disappeared. On the back-end, I see this message
Your site doesn’t include support for the “download-manager/packages” block. You can leave this block intact or remove it entirely.(

I have tried updating, deactivating and reactivating the plugin with no changes.
