Avada is one of the most popular WordPress themes available. Sadly, when using Download Manager, the modal aspect of Avada doesn’t work. Take a look at howtoproject.ca Click on the CTA at the bottom of any page. Right now, the modal window pops up with a form in it. That is because I’ve disabled Download Manager. As soon as I enable it, the modal window stops working.

I understand that not every theme can be supported, but again, Avada is a massive theme. Maybe someone could look into this and let me know why it is causing this behaviour? I’m very interested in Download Manager but not at the expense of potential customers being able to contact me.

I click on “Let’s Get Started!” button, popup is working fine, many of the wpdm user already using it with Avada.

Yes of course it works. I told you I deactivated your plugin. I can’t have customers unable to contact us. I spoke with Avada prior to notifying you of this issue. They helped me debug the problem – your plugin. They also mentioned it’s a common problem and that you will likely fix it once notified.

The last thing I expected was for you to say “Works fine.” and invalidate everything else I said in my previous message. I guess I’ll be finding another download manager plugin. There must be more than one, right?

Hi Warangel!

I had eexactly the same issue, all you need to do is go to Download Manager Setting and disbale Bootsrap Scripts (check Bootstrap JS) that solved my problem 🙂

Best,

Francisco

I’m having a similar issue, I am unable to remove the File Cart popup in the top right hand corner. Any ideas? (running Avada theme)

Hi Steve, try disabling bootstrap js from Downloads Settings.

Thanks

Go to “Downloads” on the dashboard menu. Go to “Settings” under Downloads, Go to “User Interface”. Under “Disable Style & Script” check “Bootstrap JS” and then “Save Settings” in the upper right of the page.
