Every once in a while all of our files disappear from the manager. when you try to download from the site, it downloads a “file not found .txt” file. Then we have to re-upload all of the files from a back-up we have. It looks like someone went in and deleted everything, but no one did. And there is no record of when it is happening or why.

First please ensure that you are using the latest version of the WPDM plugin.
This is strange as we haven’t faced such an issue before and no one reported it.
We will investigate further about this.
If possible please share your website credentials in a private reply so that I can take a closer look and work with you to get this working.
