Hello,

For some documents, I would like to prevent downloading for all users, but still allow viewing the document in the browser.
In short, to allow the user to view a PDF in the browser, but prevent them from downloading this document.

Is this possible with WPDM?

Thanks

Hi,

It’s crazy that a so-called “download manager” doesn’t manage downloads…

I looked at the add-ons, and can’t the one called “WordPress PDF Viewer” do this?

Also, I’ve seen on some of your videos that there’s the option “Individual file: Don’t allow individual file download”. What is this option?
And why don’t I have it?

Thanks

The WordPress PDF Viewer allows you to display a preview of the PDF file. While there is no direct “Download” option in the viewer, the available “Print” feature can still be used to save the file, effectively allowing users to download it. This behavior is inherent to how the system functions, and the Download Manager does not influence this aspect.

Additionally, the “Individual File” setting is used for packages that contain multiple files(Pro feature). It ensures that users cannot download a single file separately from the full package.
