please go to Admin Menu Downloads Settings Migrate Tab to migrate data from v2.6 to v2.7.

I have migrated all my files as you have said… but still some [Download files] don’t display on the post page ???
@kevin_wp, I see there still the old category short-code, category short-code need to be updated, but old file short-codes will work . Please use this add-on http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/advanced-tinymce-button/ to generate short-codes.
I know this is a free software but this is no way to treat hundreds of users who rely on it (actually i bought the premium but gave up on it long ago).
My files have all vanished so site was not working till I noticed, now I’ve got them back after reading above. Logos missing too.
However now this upgrade uses different layouts and css. how do I get back to the format you had before. None of these new layouts fit into my screens which were all carefully setup for responsive layouts. i don’t have time to change all my page layouts for new page designs, I just need what was there before please.

@newuser, sorry about all the trouble and extra work, but you totally misunderstood, everyday everything we are doing here is, trying to make the thing better, but if you don’t like new version you still can go back to previous version from here https://wordpress.org/plugins/download-manager/developers/
